I’m the audience,
You’re the magician.
Slowly enticing me into your illusions
And into your lies.
With gullible eyes, I want to believe.
I pretend it is true.
But we all know the illusionist
Is simply putting on a show.
The magician slyly makes it
All appear so real.
The audience watches in awe.
But I can finally see through your
Black curtain that conceals your secrets.
I am an audience member
Who can’t be fooled.
